I can think of at least twenty bars quite easily - I have probably had a drink in many of them at some time. There are at least ten and, maybe, twenty more which I have never been to. Very few of the bars play Greek music. It is almost all contemporary western music. The Courtyard is an exception.

In high season, during the day the streets are thronged with groups of tourists, following their guides. At night, it is the tourists resident locally who throng the streets as they pass from bar to restaurant to bar.

The bars are governed by strict noise laws and must reduce their volume at 11.00 pm.
