Monolithos
A little further off the beaten track for most visitors, Monolithos is virtually on a level with Lindos but on the west coast. If you fancy going as far as this it's worth a look.
Take very good care at this site - especially of children!
There are sheer drops with no barriers! The views are stunning, though.

Siana

About 10 kms from Monolithis is the small town of Siana. This is a very pleasant place to stop for lunch.
We lunched at the Taverna in the square in front of the church.

On the road around Profitas Ilias we came across these...

Kameiros

Kameiros is one of the ancient cities of Rhodes. It closes at around 2.40 pm so don't leave it too late to go there. There is a selection of tavernas within 5/10 minutes drive from the site if you want to have lunch afterwards.

Tsambika

The climb to the top of Tsambika involves around 260 steps. Women who wish to be blessed with a child have historically made the climb and the chapel has many photos of children born after such a visit. You can drive about half way up and park near a taverna. The rest is a foot slog but worth it for the views. On both of my visits (2005 & 2008) there has been a busker of some sorts on the way up. This year visitors are asked to carry a shopping bag of small stones to the top to help the renovation work.
