Many wedding parties book into local hotels such as the Iberostar, Lindos Memories or Lindos Mare. However, none of these hotels are in Lindos itself. The Mare and the Iberostar are in Vlicha Bay (pronounced Vleeha), which is the large bay just before you reach Lindos, travelling from Rhodes. The Lindos Memories is in a kind of "no mans land" between Lindos and Pefkos. Accessible by taxi and by bus but a fifteen minute walk to either resort.

One realtively inexpensive alternative is for the whole party to book into one of the large apartment complexes in the Krana area, which is the plateau and surrounding hillsides just above Lindos where the main bus stop and coach park is. In this area you will find Lindos Athena, Lindos Gardens, Lindos View, Lindos Horizons and Krana Apartments.

The equivalent in Pefkos would be The Stella Hotel (details of which you'll find on the main accommodation page).

If you are looking for something a little more special in Lindos itself then there are several options. On the one hand there are a number of privately owned villas which sleep 6 to 8 people and, on the other, there is the Hotel Melenos.

Rhodes Villas Rental ( www.rhodesvillasrental.com ) is an Italian company which lets out seven, privately owned villas. These are among the oldest and most beautiful villas in Lindos itself. These villas offer you an enhanced experience of Lindos life with their gardens, patios and terraces. The villas are "Captain's Houses" and have distinct stone work, much of it very old. With so few villas or apartments available in Lindos for 6 to 8 people, these villas are certainly worth looking at.

Hotel Melenos, which you will find on the main accommodation page, is the only hotel in Lindos itself and is a rather special place to stay - if you have the money. It is certainly a wonderful place for the Bride & Groom to stay.
